Some people liked the campiness, but I thought they went a bit extreme at times. That said, there's also a few that are really rather creepy and haunting.ģ) Killer Tomatoes. The full blown modules are a bit better done, but still kinda' meh. The Dime Novels aren't awful, but they're kinda' short and to the pointless I ended up enjoying the fiction bits more than the actual adventures. Which is actually pretty easy if you ditch most of the pre-made adventures.Ģ) The adventures are kinda' meh. I'd -highly- recommend dropping the metaplot altogether and just running with the post-apocalyptic magi-punk horror aspects. ![]() ![]() The adventures assume that players essentially don't make any difference in the setting. Honestly, I picked up the entire HoE line, except for the Cardstock figures, and really enjoyed it all.
